Policies & Booking Terms

Deposits Are Non-Refundable

All deposits are non-refundable. When a deposit is submitted, Monarch & Grain Co. immediately reserves your event date, allocates labor, begins design planning, sources ingredients specific to your order, and commits administrative time. These resources cannot be recovered once reserved.

Submitting a deposit confirms your understanding and acceptance of this policy.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due by the date specified in your invoice — typically before your event or delivery date. Failure to complete payment by the stated due date may affect production scheduling and delivery.

Custom Orders Are Final Sale

Custom cakes and event products are made exclusively for your order. Once design approval or production has begun, the order is considered final sale and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Date Changes & Rescheduling

Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested as early as possible. Monarch & Grain Co. cannot guarantee that your original date hold will transfer to a new date. Rescheduling does not entitle a refund of any deposit previously submitted.

Rush Orders

Orders placed within a shortened production window may be subject to a rush fee. Rush availability is not guaranteed and is reviewed on a case-by-case basis based on current schedule and order complexity.

Delivery

Delivery windows are estimates. Actual delivery times may vary due to traffic, venue access, event logistics, and other factors outside our control. Monarch & Grain Co. will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the agreed window.

The client is responsible for providing accurate venue address, delivery contact information, and access instructions. Monarch & Grain Co. is not responsible for delays or issues arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery information.

After Delivery & Setup

Once a cake or event product has been delivered, set up, and accepted by the client or an authorized representative at the venue, Monarch & Grain Co. is not responsible for any damage caused by venue conditions, guests, heat, weather, table instability, or outside handling.

If you have concerns about display conditions at your venue — such as outdoor heat, unstable surfaces, or direct sunlight — please inform us during the planning process so we can advise accordingly.

Photo Booth — Availability & Booking

Monarch & Grain Co. currently operates one photo booth setup. Photo booth bookings are subject to date availability and are held on a first-confirmed basis. To avoid double booking, your photo booth date must be formally confirmed and held through our booking process.

Photo booth inquiries added to an existing cake order receive a 25% discount off the standalone rate. The discount applies only when both services are booked together under the same event and order.

Photo Booth — What Is Included

Our photo booth service is digital only. No physical prints or printed photo strips are included or available at this time. All images are delivered digitally.

Standard backdrop options are black or white. Custom backdrops or branded designs must be provided by the client or quoted separately through our event planning and vendor support service. No on-site attendant is included in the base booking unless specifically arranged and confirmed in writing.

Event Planning & Vendor Support

Event planning assistance and vendor coordination are available as an added service and are quoted separately based on scope. This service is not included in standard cake or photo booth bookings.
